PT. Bintang Laut Platinum (BLP) was established in 2008 as a reach stacker rental specialist. In 2012, we expanded our expertise to become a rail cargo transportation provider based in Surabaya, Jakarta, and Semarang. Since then, we have helped numerous Indonesian companies deliver their goods safely, on time, and at competitive prices.
Our growth accelerated in 2015 following the Indonesian government’s enactment of Permenhub No. 134, which regulates maximum weight limits for truck loads. As a result, our trains now operate daily to meet the increased demand.
In November 2023, we proudly launched our international multimodal train service, a pioneering solution designed to expedite Indonesia's export processes. We are the first company in Indonesia to offer this service across Surabaya, Semarang, and Jakarta.
